CONFERENCE AND USERS' MEETING 2002

VIRTUAL PROTOTYPING TODAY: INDUSTRIAL IMPACTAND FUTURE TRENDS

3rd-4th OCTOBER 2002 -Villa Caroli-Zanchi - Stezzano (BG)

THE CONFERENCE

  • Does simulation play an essential role in improving a firm's competitivness? For which firms? In which conditions?
  • What should we expect nowadays from virtual simulation? And in the future?
  • There is a variety of different technologies on the market. Is there any interaction between these technologies? In what terms can we talk of integration?
  • Can simulation codes still provide the complete solution to industrial problems? Can the process-product-performance chain be profitably reproduced in the virtual world?
  • How can we efficiently provide suitable and ongoing training for new technologies?

Engin Soft, and its partners in promoting virtual prototyping technologies and training, would like to invite firms, research centres, and universities to come together to collect and exchange ideas, approaches, and information that can be useful and enjoyed by all parties: not only experts, but also those interested in the overall picture and the current state of the art.

To this end, the character of the meeting will be that of a forum with many points of view and in particular:

The manager's perspective....
Engineering data management...
Technology transfer....

THE USER'S MEETING

As part of the event, a users' conferences will be held for all the software families supported by Engin Soft. In particular managers and experts of the following products will attend:

  • ANSYS and related modules;
  • CFX and related modules;
  • MAGMAsoft, FORGE, TFORM;
  • modeFRONTIER;
  • LS-Dyna;
  • SYSNOISE, RAYNOISE and related modules;
  • CADFIX and related modules.

In specific sessions there will be the possibility to learn general development plans, to introduce particular needs and to meet with experts to solve emerging problems.

Software producers will be avaliable at the exhibition to respond to specific user demands and questions not raised in the official sessions.

modeFRONTIER INTERNATIONAL USERS' MEETING

ModeFRONTIER is a multi-partnered collaborative design environment targeted at multi-objective design optimization. The ModeFRONTIER approach involves generating, exchanging and analyzing design information in the form of Pareto frontiers, facilitating seamless integration of user design scenarios and external applications.

The conference provides delegates with a unique insight into the software system, along with the possibility of meeting with leading international industrial experts and software developers.
